Monetary union, 1960-1974, (Central African States from 1974) of former French colonies in Central Africa, (French Equatorial Africa, till 1960). Country of issue is identified by the printed code letter (1961-1971). Banknotes issued between 1971 and 1992 had common designs and carry full country name. They are listed under specific country:
- A - Chad
- B - Central African Republic
- C - Congo
- D - Gabon
- * - Cameroon (associate member), 1960-1962 and 1972-1974
